Privacy Policy

Cumberland Leads is a service operated by Cumberland Built, a software studio based in the Upper Cumberland region of Tennessee. In this policy, “Cumberland Leads,” “we,” “our,” and “us” refer to Cumberland Built and the Cumberland Leads service. When you sign up, we collect your email address, phone number, and the industry you select. When you pay, our payment processor (Stripe) collects and stores your billing information; we never see or store your card details. When you use the service, we store the alerts we deliver to you and basic logs about delivery.

We do not collect or store data about anyone other than you, the subscriber, beyond the publicly available local activity the service processes to generate your alerts.

We use your information only to:

• Deliver activity alerts to your phone and email
• Bill you for the service through Stripe
• Send you account or service related messages
• Improve match quality and product reliability

We do not sell your information, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not use it for any purpose unrelated to delivering the service.

If you opt in to text messages, we use your mobile phone number only to send the messages you signed up for: account notifications and activity alerts for subscribers. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time. Reply HELP for assistance.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile opt-in data and consent records are never sold or shared. We only disclose your number to the service providers that help us deliver these messages (for example, our SMS carrier), and only so they can deliver the texts you requested.

We rely on the following third party services to operate Cumberland Leads:

• Supabase, for account storage and authentication
• Stripe, for payments and subscription management
• Twilio, for SMS delivery
• Resend, for email delivery
• Anthropic (Claude), for match scoring
• Apify, for collecting publicly available local activity
• Vercel, for hosting
• Google Analytics and PostHog, for understanding site traffic and product usage

Each of these vendors handles your data under their own privacy terms.

Cumberland Leads processes publicly available activity in your local area to score and forward relevant requests to you. We retain this material only for the short rolling window needed to generate your alerts, and we never republish private content.

You can, at any time:

• Toggle email delivery on or off from your dashboard settings
• Reply STOP to any SMS to opt out of further messages from Cumberland Leads
• Cancel your subscription from the Stripe billing portal linked in your dashboard
• Request that we delete your account and all associated data by emailing privacy@cumberlandleads.com

We keep your account record while your subscription is active and for a reasonable period after cancellation for accounting and audit purposes. Match history is retained for the life of your account so you can review past alerts.

We use industry standard encryption in transit and at rest, and we apply the principle of least privilege to internal systems. No service is 100 percent secure, but we take reasonable precautions to protect your information.

Cumberland Leads is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, notify active subscribers by email.
